Have you ever seen a tablecloth like this? It’s doubtful you could find one, but when you use fabric, your choices are incredible. My dining room table is extremely wide — 50″, so I always have to get fabric that is at least 54″. That’s what this was. It can easily be duct-taped underneath for a nice tailored look. It’s been over 100 degrees for the last 29 days. It feels like we’re walking into a hot, steamy jungle when we go outside, so this fit right in for Sunday dinner. We chose a light menu — tilapia fixed two ways — one with panang curry and broccoli, the other as Thai basil fish with green beans and carrots. Add a little sliced cantaloupe and it was a wonderful summer Sunday lunch.
