Beginner Pasta-making and Sauces
Featuring Chef Amanda Hancock with Louis Dessauer
Spend the afternoon in the Capers kitchen in this hands-on class filled with incredible Italian flavors. You will learn how to make three different types of pasta from scratch (plain, roasted red pepper, and spinach) and you will take it from ingredients to dough to finished noodle type, followed by drying, then cooking. And what’s pasta without sauce? To accompany your pastas, you will learn to create a classic red sauce, a creamy Alfredo, and one of our favorites — Desperation Sauce (for when you’re desperate to please dinner guests — or just yourself — with something especially scrumptious: think bacon, chicken, garlic, cream…) You will have a great meal and a lot of fun in this special bonus class.
