Do you have an air fryer, but haven’t really used it? Have you heard others rattle on about how great air fryers are and you want to see (and taste!) for yourself? This is the class for you. Step by step, we’ll acquaint you with the power and ease of use of this incredible kitchen tool. We’ll make a believer out of you as we cook our way through this two-hour class and we’ll delight your taste buds with a variety of foods that are baked, roasted, grilled or fried in the air fryer. Making Soft Pretzels (AFTERNOON)

Whether you’re watching the game play or you’re just there for the commercials, let’s get serious: the Super Bowl is really all about the SNACKS! Don’t break out a bag of tortilla chips and call it good. This class will equip you to raise your game and be the star of the show with some of the best little bites you’ve ever had. We’ll prepare an appetizing assortment of game-day treats that will have all the referees ruling in your favor in the tastiness competition. We learned to make this meal in a beautiful kitchen in the heart of Florence, Italy from Italian chefs and we’re sharing what we learned. This class will feature a beautiful salad and vinaigrette dressing, gnocchi (light, fluffy pillows of potato pasta), a gorgonzola walnut sauce, an herbed pork tenderloin, and Italian butter cookies. Date Night Couples Class
Friday, February 10th 6:00-8:00 $45 per person
You don’t have to make googly eyes at each other to come to this class! We know “food is love” – and a cooking class is a really fun way to spend an evening together. This class offers Friday night fun in the kitchen with a hands-on class that features a menu just right for date night — spaghetti with meat sauce, fettucine with a cheesy alfredo sauce, a kitchen sink salad (whatever’s handy and looks good), garlic toast and a delicious filled crepe for dessert. Love on a plate!
Valentine Cookie Decorating Cooking Class
Saturday, February 11th 5:00-7:00 $45 per person
Just in time for Valentines Day, this class will allow you to make beautifully decorated edible works of art as treats for special people in your life. We will have all the cookies cut out in several shapes and baked before your arrival, ready for you to have fun with and we will have batches of royal icing mixed up, perfectly colored, ready for piping. There will be patterns and drawings for inspiration, along with expert instruction for tackling your design. At the end of the class, you will leave with a beautiful box full of your own creations that will, undoubtedly, be ALMOST too pretty to eat! Bread & Cheese Making
Friday, February 17th 6:00-8:00 $45 per person
This hands-on class will walk you through the steps for making fresh mozzarella cheese and a loaf of French bread. Students will enjoy just-baked bread with a caprese salad starring the newborn squeaky white cheese. Jam & Jelly
March 4th (Saturday) 3:00-5:00 $45 per person
Becky Gray is affectionately known as “the jelly lady.” She began making jams and jellies when she was about 10 years old, helping in her grandma’s kitchen. Grandpa always wanted jelly or jam on the table for every meal. Over the decades, she has made thousands of jars and lots of different varieties – as many as 75 cases worth in a year! In this class, Becky will teach how to make blackberry jam and strawberry jam. Maybe you’re thinking “I’ll never make pasta at home.” And maybe you won’t. But don’t miss the experience of learning how it’s done, seeing, feeling, participating in each step of the process. You’ll always be able to say “Yes, I’ve made pasta from scratch” once you attend this class. Fresh made pasta is a world apart from store bought. Each bite transports you to the heart of Italy. Join us as Jen leads an action-filled hands-on class where you will gain experience in each step of the pasta-making process. We’ll make basic pasta, spinach fettucine, and roasted red pepper linguine and we’ll serve it up with some of Capers’ sauce mixes, a salad, some crusty bread, topped off with chocolate linguine for dessert. These are the sauces we personally return to again and again. We’ll teach you make cacio e peppe (cheese & pepper), a thick, rich meaty tomato sauce, Desperado Sauce (our own concoction that involves chicken, bacon, cream – a terrific trio, combined with parmesano/reggiano and garlic), and a quick Last Resort Pasta that is our go-to when it seems like there is nothing in the kitchen.
