Would my life have turned out differently if I had been given PB and Siracha Rollups instead of ordinary peanut butter sandwiches during my formative years? Ah, one can only imagine. I think it’s not too late to spice up my life.
Ingredients:
- Peanut butter (I like Smuckers Natural)
- Grape jelly (or I used Black Raspberry — and I prefer Smuckers Simply Fruit)
- Siracha Sauce (aka Rooster sauce)
- Tortillas (I use the low carb variety)
Directions:
Measure out a cup of peanut butter and place it into a small bowl.
Add 1 tsp. Siracha sauce. Or, if you’re feeling really bold, add an entire tablespoon.
Add a like amount of jelly. (One teaspoon, if that’s how much Siracha you used, or a tablespoon if you went whole hog on the spicy stuff.)
Stir well.
Using a wide knife or a spreader, spread the PB&S mixture onto each tortilla and commence to roll into a tight rollup.
With a sharp knife, cut into 1/2 inch spirals. Enjoy the ends as you trim them off. You need to taste test, you know. Plus, the ends will be irregular shaped and not what you want to use for display.
Throw them into baggies and keep in the refrigerator until someone is ready for a snack.
