Create a stunning Fall bouquet for your autumn table in a hurry by making a beautiful ornamental cabbage the star of the show. Once you have it, lots of different flowers could go with it. Here’s what I did: I combined it with a store-bought grouping of roses, asparagus fern, and hypericum berries and threw in a long-stemmed artichoke for good measure. Easy –and this ornamental cabbage fall bouquet is stunning. Just the way we like it.
The roses lasted only a few days and needed to be removed when they drooped, but the other components were hearty and long-lasting.
Remove the bottom petals of the ornamental cabbage as they begin to turn brown or yellow and keep cutting the stem. At some point, if it gets too short, transfer it and what is left of the other elements of the bouquet to another, smaller container.
Here it is on the table. Really nice for a fall lunch or breakfast.
