Are those cool-looking garnishes, or what? I used the Vegetable Curler to peel a large carrot and a daikon radish, then I used the curler part to crank out these “flowers.” (We carry two different versions of carrot curlers at Capers Emporium — one from GEFU that takes up even less drawer space and comes in various colors.) You simply turn the vegetable in the middle like you are sharpening a large pencil. As you do, the vegetable begins to spiral out and it naturally takes on the floral shape you see here. We created all three of these vegetable blossoms in less than a minute. Making food look pretty doesn’t have to be time-consuming.
