Simple Halloween Flower Arrangement

Wednesday, September 28, 2022

orangezinniabouquet

When my husband sweetly mentions that he thinks I have too many dishes, I pull out a bowl and say “Honey, this isn’t a DISH, it’s a vase.” Not that it placates him when I say such things, but it is important for the spousal unit to realize that these pieces can multi-task.

This arrangement utilizes a black and white striped bowl into which I have placed just two types of flowers.  Orange zinnias and purple oh-phooey-I-forgot-their-name.

I thought it was a dazzling combination for a simple Halloween flower arrangement.  Looking at it now, I think it would have been almost as amazing if it had been zinnias alone!  The dominant orange flowers  and black and white “vase” leave no doubt about which holiday you’re celebrating.

Boo!
