The other white meat (as the ads say) can be dry and not very tasty unless it is prepared well. With the right seasonings, pork makes an incredible meal.
Ingredients:
- Pork chops
- Olive oil
- Cracked black pepper
- salt
- Rosemary Garlic seasoning
Directions:
If you have the luxury of being able to prepare these the day before you plan to serve them, they benefit from having time to sit with the herb/spice mixture on them. I like to prepare them the night before. Rub the pork chops with olive oil. Generally apply the Rosemary/Garlic seasoning. Add a little salt and pepper. Massage the seasonings into the meat. When it’s time to cook them, just throw them on the grill or fry them up in the air fryer. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees. The length of time it will take will depend upon how done you like them (they are safe at 145 internal temp or above, but most of us grew up eating them more cooked than that) AND how thick they are. Figure 10 minutes total for medium thick. Flip part way through.
