This is my husband’s favorite vegetable and his favorite way for cooking it. There’s something that happens to broccoli when it is slightly charred on the grill that takes it to a whole new level.
Ingredients: This recipe can be made either on an indoor grill, if your stove has one, an outdoor grill, or in the oven at 350 degrees.
- Fresh broccoli
- olive oil
- Essential vinaigrette
Wash and dry the broccoli. Peel off the hard outer layer of the stem with a vegetable peeler and cut off the tip of the end of the stalk. Mist with olive oil. Place the broccoli on a hot grill and grill until lightly charred.
Immediately after removing from the grill, place the hot broccoli into a large bowl and coat it with the essential vinaigrette. Toss well, then plate and serve.
