This dip has just 5 ingredients and goes together very quickly. When you have little prep time and want to make a big splash, buy the best-looking strawberries you can find, leave them whole, wash them well, and serve them on a big platter with this incredible dip. The stems become the “holder.” Just be sure your guests have plates or there are trashcans nearby for the little green discards.
- 1 1/2 blocks of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 small jar Marshmallow Creme (Walden Farms even makes it sugar-free!)
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- Fresh strawberries
Directions: Mix together the sour cream and cream cheese. Add the marshmallow creme. Mix well. Add the almond and vanilla extracts. Stir. Choose a strawberry that is medium-size and blemish-free. Using a strawberry cutter or a small paring knife, put the strawberry stem side down. Make small slices from the tip down almost to the stem, then fan out the strawberry and place it on top of the tip with a little mint leaf for a garnish.
Serve chilled with the strawberries.
