Start with a small round of brie cheese (about 6 inches in diameter). Place it on a plate. Score the top of the cheese lightly, as if you are cutting a pie. Slice down about half an inch or so. Sprinkle brown sugar diabeti-sweet over the top. As an alternative, you could use Splenda. Place the plate with cheese into the microwave and microwave it for approximately 30 seconds, then check it to see if the cheese is starting to melt and the brown sugar diabeti-sweet is being caramelized just a bit. While that is microwaving, wash your whole strawberries. Place the strawberries around the warm brie cheese, and serve with a small spreading knife. I love this for breakfast!
Always wash your strawberries whole. If you take the tops off first, the berries get waterlogged. Who knew?!
