It was 2011. I can’t remember the occasion, but I have never needed much of an excuse to throw a party. This one combined good friends with a wide variety of little bites. I didn’t stick to traditional appetizers. By using small serving dishes (Pier 1 had its tasting collection of small bowls, cups, etc., at the time), I was also able to include small bites of things like pea salad and other offerings that would more traditionally have been regarded as side dishes or even main dishes. A little bite of this, a little bite of that — my favorite way to eat!
